How To Join!

🧭 How to Join PCGMon 2.0

Follow this step-by-step guide to get started on your Cobblemon adventure!

✅ Step 1: Install Modrinth

👉 Download Modrinth
Modrinth is where you’ll install and launch our modpack.

✅ Step 2: Allocate More RAM

After installing Modrinth and signing into your Minecraft account:

  • Go to Settings

  • Allocate at least 4GB of RAM (we recommend 8GB for best performance)

✅ Step 3: Get the Modpack

Download the latest .mrpack file from our 📌・server-info channel in Discord.

✅ Step 4: Create a New Instance

  • Open Modrinth

  • Click "Create New Instance"

  • Choose "From File" and select the .mrpack you downloaded

✅ Step 5: Launch and Apply Resource Packs

  • Press Play

  • Once Minecraft launches, go to:
    Options > Resource Packs

    • Make sure these packs are in the correct order

    • Ignore any incompatibility warnings and install anyway

✅ Step 6: Join the Server

The server should already appear in your multiplayer tab.
If not, use this IP:

Tip: The Library warp is your best friend early on!

✅ Step 8: Fix Keybind Conflicts

You will encounter keybind overlaps.
Go to Options > Controls and reassign them as needed — each player will have to do this manually.

✅ Step 9: Add Rotom Appliances (Optional)

Want to unlock Rotom forms?

  • Go to Modrinth, search for: Rotom Appliances

  • Install it here

  • Enable the resource pack in-game
